- Candidates must have cleared Intermediate (FA / FSc / ICS / ICom) or an HEC-equivalent certification.
- A minimum of 2nd Division (45% marks) is mandatory for social sciences and arts. Computing, Engineering, and Allied Health sciences require an aggregate score of 50% to 60% depending on departmental prerequisites.
2. Postgraduate Requirements
- MS / MPhil: A 4-year BS or 16-year equivalent degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.0 (or 50% under the annual system) plus clearance of the Departmental General Test.
- PhD: Relevant MS/MPhil qualification with strong academic Standing, defense of a Research Proposal / Statement of Purpose, and a Subject Test evaluation.
